We're teaming up with Hugh from Avant Wine to put together a special Welsh vs English wine tasting to kickstart Welsh wine week! (Fri 24th May - Sunday 2nd June)
We'll be presenting 8 quality British wines in a tasting tournament, where YOU decide on the winner by blindly voting your favourite.
Round 1: Welsh vs English Traditional Method Sparkling.
Round 2: Welsh vs English White.
Round 3: Welsh vs English Red
BONUS ROUND: Something funky or a little different from Wales and England to present variety.
This will be a fun and informative event where we will discuss grape varieties, climate, wine styles and the future of British wines.
Hugh runs Avant Wine and is a Wine Educator who teaches, trains and presents about wine across south Wales including public tastings, private events and staff training.
